Dance 3D Leggings

Leggings are typically a difficult material to print onto due to the fact of the nylon/spandex material blend. To overcome this we used a fast-tack print and cut substrate that enabled us to print the Dance 3D logo then cut as one piece rather than layering 3 different colours onto the leggings. This resulted in a more cost effective outcome for the client and a neater, more consistent finish.

The durability of the material is very high and the stretch in the substrate enables the dancer freedom of movement which is critical to their artform.

Normally, a design onto leggings would be done while the material was flat off the roll. The image would be sublimated onto the design then it would be stitched together to make the finished item. In this case the leggings were purchased from Weissmans in USA and we had to devise a way to get the same look for an affordable price.
